<p>Alan Blunden &amp; Co Ltd are an insurance broker established for over 60 years and serving the local community of Southend-on-Sea.</p> <p>We would like to give something back to that community!</p> <p>With that in mind, 10 of our staff have bravely volunteered to jump out of a plane at 14,000ft, preferrably with a parachute. We will be working with the charity to book this for a weekend in April 2011, final date to be confirmed.</p> <p>A number of people here have had connections with Southend Hospital and/or the Bosom Pals Appeal, a charity dedicated to ensuring breast cancer is identified early and treated effectively. The Bosom Pals appeal is raising money towards:</p> <p>- 2 Digital Mammography Machines</p> <p>- Digital Faxitron</p> <p>- Digital Biopsy Machine</p> <p>- MRI Breast Coil</p> <p>- Improvements to the cancer wards of Southend Hospital</p> <p>I hope you will agree that this is a worthwhile cause, this means a lot to everyone here&nbsp; and we hope you will support the charity by donating anything you can to help us towards our target.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
