When I tell people I am taking part in the Dry-athalon this year they tend to look pretty impressed.

'Have you got lycra for the swim?'

Then I set them straight.

This isn't an Ironman, a Marathon or even a sponsored walk; however this act of abstinance is for a very good cause.
