Story
An ageing society is a social issue with loneliness and isolation in particular being a major issue for older people - did you know, 1 Million older people go a month or longer without speaking to anyone they know!
As you may be aware, I manage field based teams and together with our suppliers and they visit people in their homes on a daily basis and are therefore likely to see this issue first hand.
We've decided to do something tangible to help and have launched a '£100k for Age UK' social purpose . We have partnered with Age UK to raise funds and provide practical support with the ambition of raising £100k by the end of 2016.
