London to Brighton Challenge 2018 · 26 May 2018 to 27 May 2018 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!   We're raising money for Parkinsons UK by challenging ourselves to complete the London to Brighton Challenge - a 100 km walk from Richmond to Brighton.  It's taking place over the second bank holiday in May - 26th & 27th - and yes, we will be walking overnight.  Or at least, James will!  Whether or not Alison makes it depends if her (currently broken) ankle recovers in time.  Otherwise she'll be on the support team!

We are part of a team of 12 from the Pensions Regulator, and we're aiming to raise a total of £10,000, split between our chosen charities.  We're supporting Parkinsons UK, as it's a disease that has affected our family, so a cause we feel strongly about.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
