National 3 Peaks Challenge · 5 June 2017

War Child is striving for a world in which no child's life is torn apart by war. We protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children living in war zones across the world. Your support today will help us reach even more children in need.

Story

As soon as June 5th the Raise & Give Society at Leeds University and I will be attempting to climb the 3 tallest peaks in the UK in under 24 hours, including any time taken to descend and travel the hundreds of miles between each, all in support of War Child.

Beyond enabling me to confront Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, Mount Snowden, and possibly a rather not-so-exotic Welsh beach to celebrate our success, any contribution at all will help children in war zones all across the world.

With the world in as sore a state as it is now, with chemical weapon attacks on Syrian children making news within these past months, War Child's aim of reaching over 260,000 children across Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Uganda, the CAR and the DRC by 2019 is more imperative than ever. What I am challenging myself to do here isn't comparable to the challenges children across these countries will encounter daily. Everything makes a difference so donate and get involved yourself! Thank you all for any support!
