<p class="iphone-update">Just completed the second of my races, the Great North West Half Marathon in 1:52:47... a new personal best...JUST!</p> <p class="iphone-update">Just complete the first race, the Essar Four Villages Half Marathon in 1:53:33...a new personal best!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>After taking up running this year, I have run 4 10km races. I thought it was about time I took it seriously and have decided to enter some proper endurance runs!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>I have gained a place on the 2012 Virgin London Marathon raising money for Heart Research UK. I chose this charity because in April of this year I lost my grandfather suddenley and unexpectedly to ischemic heart disease, so I will be running in loving memory of William Thay. The charity does amazing work, and for over 40 years has funded cutting edge medical research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Not content with the 26.2 gruelling miles of the London Marathon, I will also be running the Four Villages half marathon and the Great North West half marathon.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thats 3 races, 52.4 miles, 13 weeks.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Please donate anything you can, even in this time of recession every little helps!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thank you</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>James</p>
