We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

I will be running this years Great Curry Run with St.Georges School raising money for the ABF by running 10m for every service person killed or wounded in Afghanistan since 2001.

Each participent was allocated a fallen service person to run in memory, I was allocated Carlo Apolis a South African who gave his life to make a difference serving in the British Army, for more on his story visit http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8547065.stm

Now I would normally try to find some way of politely asking you to dig deep and donate as much as possible, however I feel that Winston Churchill phrased it well enough for everyone.

"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."
