tis true, i have swopped my kitchen whisk  for a pair of the  finest leather 14 oz boxing gloves. Exchanged my kitchen apron for a head guard and downed tools from the kitchen to raise my fists in 3 rounds of the noble art. no longer is elisabeth david my god but for 12th December i am  disciple of the Marquis of Queensbury. I have bruised ribs, bloodied my nose more than once and lost all dignity and that is even before i have got in the ring.
