Up until a few weeks ago it was fair to say I never really had a story to tell regarding my doing this ride, but sadly I feel I do now...

A young couple I've known for some years had there second child at the beginning of April, a baby boy called Daniel. Daniel was born with a serious heart condition... Just over two weeks ago he sadly passed away leaving a brief, but lasting memory with all those that had the pleasure of meeting him. I didn't, but I was so deeply saddened by this news I new I now had a real reason to give this ride my best and raise as much as possible.
