Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

This July I am going to be running the British 10K in London (http://www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk) for the Anthony Nolan Trust.

If you haven't heard of it, please take a look at some info below about the really important work it does and how being on it's donor register can save another person's life.

As you may already know - I'm not the "exercise type" so this will mean a lot of training and preparation before this July!

So please donate as much as you can afford.

Thank you again,

James

The Anthony Nolan Trust currently runs the UK’s largest and most successful stem cell register.

They use it to save lives by matching donors to patients who desperately need a stem cell transplant. Often, a transplant is the last hope for a person suffering from leukaemia or other blood related disorders.

"We match people suffering from leukaemia and other serious blood disorders with volunteers willing to donate their healthy stem cells. Joining our register and donating stem cells is much easier today thanks to our scientific advances, but we need funds to recruit more donors. The more donors we have the more lives we can save. A gift from you could help us save more lives."

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
