Do your bit to help our Heroes: Remember the fallen & care for the living.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Each year, on 11th November, we remember the dead from the World Wars and the symbol of Remembrance is the Poppy. The Poppy is as relevant today as it was when it was first worn. Our young men and women of today are facing different challenges in the war against terrorism but they show the same courage, humour and determination that their forefathers did. The boys and girls of our Armed Forces are the Heroes of today, they are making sacrifices and they stand side by side with all those who have fought to safeguard our country in all the conflicts since The Great War. We must remember all those who have died and we must care for those who have been wounded.

Help for Heroes, The Royal British Legion and all the other great Service charities are united in a desire to ensure that all those who volunteer to serve our country get the very best treatment, care and respect. We work closely with all the Service charities throughout the year but at this time of Remembrance we especially urge you all to buy your Poppy and wear it with pride; we do.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now to the Poppy Appeal.
