Her name is Aaliyah Wells she was 4 yrs old.
She became ill with a temperature at home on sat 14.11.09 by the night time at 9.00 she was pale and floppy so we rushed her to hospital. They expected meningitis straight away and gave antibiotics and oxygen. By 9.00 in the morning she started fitting and slipped into a coma. She was pronouced brain dead on the 16.11.09 and had to switch off machine x

This temperature was no different to any other normal one and there was no rash no difference to a flu.

Most of you know Kelly and know what she and her family have been through.
I am a Father to a 3 year old little Girl and on hearing Kelly awful news, I felt completely devastated. Over the past days I have felt the need to help Kelly and her Family but didn't know how to go about it.
On reading Kelly's wall messages its dawned on me that maybe i'm not the only one feeling like this.
So.... plan is.... we are going to raise ALOT of money for the Meningitis UK Charity. This is something Kelly wants to do so other normal families might be spared from the devastation she has been through.
A few people is not enough....we need masses of people.... lets have an effect on the charity and the work they are doing to prevent this terrible illness.
