Story

Young people growing up in care run a marathon every day.

Compared to folk that aren't, looked after young people are less likely to make it to university, less likely to achieve standard grades and less likely to be in a positive destination after leaving school. So there's that...then the stigma society attaches without thinking about the fact that their situation had nothing to do with them.

There's more young people in care in Scotland now than there ever was.

Who Cares? Scotland does work no one else can because they understand the issues they face like no one else does.

They support, represent and advocate for young people that living in/with experience of being looked after.  They work independently for young people with care experience in local authorities across Scotland and involve young people every step of the way.

So let's help them do even more of it, yes? I'm doing the hard bit.
