WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials in ways that last can people change their lives for good.

Story

On 3rd August I will be setting off on a 5 day trek along the arctic trail in order to raise funds for Wateraid. 80% of landmass covered in ice,  I will trek across multiple terrains such as tundra and glaciers while camping in cold conditions, surviving on basic meals and cut off from all mod cons we take for granted. Wateraid helps to provide clean water around the world primarily for disadvantaged communities. The trek will be one of the most unpopulated and isolated parts of the world. We will average 20km per day carrying all equipment with limited outside support. The trip is entirely self funded and none of your donations will subsidise my trip.
