On Saturday 24th September I will be doing a skydive - quite a scary proposition! The plane will go up to 12,000 feet and I will experience freefall of 125mph for 35 seconds. I am more than a little nervous.

 

I am fundraising for the St Elizabeth Hospice, an Ipswich-based centre that improves the lives of those suffering from progressive illnesses.

 

The focus is on improving the quality of life for those who do not have much of it left.

 

The hospice costs an enormous amount of money to run, and since it is independent most of this money has to come from fundraising. In total the hospice costs £13 a minute to run.

 

Please note that all money donated through this page will go directly to the St Elizabeth Hospice, so everything you donate will go to help someone who has a terminal illness.
