We help children & adults born with TOF/OA to ease living with this rare condition

Story

When my daughter, Elena (pictured in hospital), came in to the world in October of last year, she was unfortunately suffering from a very rare association, termed VATER.  This meant that her food pipe did not join with her stomach, but instead joined into her windpipe, meaning she was unable to feed and has associated respiratory problems.  4 operations, 3 resusitations and 3 of her 1st 4 months spent in various West London hospitals, she is home, growing and being fed with the aid of a gastronomy tube.

Mum, Dad and Teddy are so extremely proud of her, and thought if Elena can go through months of people cutting her open and stitching her back up then running 26 miles should be a stroll in the park.

I'm running for 2 different charities, SportsAid through whom I have gained my entry and pledged to raise £1,500, and TOFS.  The later is a charity that supports Children & their families like Elena who were born unable to swallow.

I did attempt to run last year and had to pull out weeks before the event due to injury, so if you sponsored me last year thank you so much, and I will endeavour to make it round this time!!
