Story

Hi Guys!

Thankyou for coming to our page, if you are donating or not!

Our minimum amount that we need to raise each is £50, so for all those out there who aren't studying a maths degree that is a minimum of £100 total. However, as these are such great charities, we want to try to exceed that and reach a much more diffcult target of £500!

What are we doing?

We are embarking on a trip to Paris, solely through the aid and kindness of other people. The main goal to not spend any money at all and to get there in the fastest time possible.( If anyone wants to help us with the first stint then they are welcome to contact us :P)

Why we are doing it?

Alex has always wanted to go to Paris and thought that this would be a great way to do it, realising a life ambition whilst simultaneously raising money for charity. Also she likes croissants!...and danish, and all pastries!...and baguettes! (yes tha's right i'm typing it as she says it)

I have given to charity before and supported my fellow peers with their charity work but felt that it was finally time that i take the opportunity to do my part. I love France and have visited Paris before, and this challenge will, not only contributes towards helping many who are less fortunate than myself but also allows me to practice my drastically rusting french language skills.

How are we getting there?

As I mentioned before we are getting there by the aid of others - a fancy way of saying hitch-hiking! It is going to be a hard journey with lots of waiting around probably, (so i am told by my Mum who took part in a similar charitable event) but hopefully we will encounter a few "gentil" (need to start practicing) strangers who will help us to reach our goal.

If you could donate anything from a pound to £10 we will be very grateful for it all!

Alex and I are trying to raise money for RAG at Bath University who collect money for Golden-Oldies (Supporting the elderly), Julian House (A homeless charity), The Rainbow Centre for Children (Support children and parents who have suffered grievances) and Time2Share (helping disabled children)
