The Opal Foundation and Leeds Met have recently started supporting Little Heroes a relatively new charity which is dedicated to supporting families and children torn apart by childhood cancer.  Having recently met the founder of the charity, he has confirmed that he has a target of £40k to buy a brand new static caravan for the families and their children to use to rebuild family life after their traumatic ordeals in hospital.  I want to help them reach their target! As a kickstart to our fundraising for this cause some of the Leeds Met Residential Officers, Opal Accommodation Team and Leeds Met Students have collectively agreed to have to have their hair completely shaved off (so thats not blade 2, not 1 but 0).

Not one to say no to raising money for good cause I have agreed to take part in this event and go completely bold!! For those of you who know me this not something I do lightly, as I love my hair and probably will go into mourning for a few days after but the work done by Little Heroes is nothing short of amazing and if are wanting to show your support and spare couple of quid it would be greatly appreciated.  All monies raised for this event will be donated to Little Heroes through The Opal Foundation.
