2010 Milton Keynes Half Marathon · 7 March 2010 ·

Neuroendocrine Cancer UK exists to support and inform patients and families from diagnosis, enabling access to the best care and treatment, whilst stimulating Neuroendocrine Cancer research, increasing national awareness, and influencing improvements in outcomes.

Story

Thanks to all our family and friends who supported us on what was a perfect morning for running. Dry, sunny with a cooling breeze.

Jord finished in 1.41hrs and I trailed in at 1.50hrs.

Many thanks for your pledges, really appreciated.

Jamie

Laura, my beautiful wife was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine cancer in September 2008 and her condition has been stabilised fantastically well by the wonderful staff at The Royal Free Hospital. Throughout this time The Neuroendocrine Patient Foundation  (www.netpatientfoundation.com ) has been a great point for information and support through the website and forum. They rely solely on patients and their friends and families to raise funds to help to support them following a diagnosis, and importantly to continue its valuable research.

We will be running the 2010 Milton Keynes half marathon on Sunday March 7th.......well Jord will and I’ll be dragging my butt around the course attempting to catch him.

So please show Jord and me your support. Come down to Xscape MK for the start at10am or the horrendous uphill finish about midday and have a laugh but more importantly, make a pledge!

Please please dig deep and donate now.

Cheers

Jamie
