I will be taking part the Garden House's yearly Starlight walk on 10th September, walking 10 miles through the mean streets of Letchworth at night. I couldn't take part last year as I was still recovering from my own chemo, but The Garden House have been helping my mum through illness for a couple of years and will now also be helping my dad.

Garden House is a registered charity offering hospice care and support to patients from the community with a terminal diagnosis.

The Garden House Hospice in Letchworth provides care and treatment for those that need it and support for their families. As well as caring for inpatients, it offers physiotherapy, complementary therapies and relaxation sessions for outpatients. It is a charity and all the services it provides are free. It needs to raise over £1million per year to maintain these services.
