Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Some of you may already have heard that I am well! After 19 years of ME (12 or 14 mostly housebound, can't quite remember) I started my new, healthy life in late April. It has been a thrilling, fun, joyous, mind-blowing experience to have such a fresh beginning! It's also been scary and challenging as I've left the familiarity of my sofa and tried each day to re-learn how to do life. Its been challenging for Nick too! But he and the boys and girls have been wonderfully supportive and motivating.

As a celebration and thanksgiving for being well, I'm going on a sponsored bike ride! I'll be joining Nick on September 12 for the Sussex Historic Churches Bike Ride, which he's done for a number of years. Half the money raised will go to this Trust, but (and this is really motivating for me) half will go to our Parish. This is really exciting because we are nearing our target for rebuilding the church hall at St Dunstan's which will be a wonderful contribution to life of the church and the village as a whole.

I'll be cycling a circuit of 5-8 miles, visiting churches in Shoreham, Lancing and Sompting. I'll be wearing wedding gear because the ride will be straight after a lunchtime wedding in Shoreham and I thought my glad-rags would be suitably celebratory!
