My story
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.
I DID IT! - Mid-Life Crisis over
5hrs 20mins after setting off and 2 plasters on sore feet later, I sprinted across the finish line and not the threshold of an A&E! - What an amazing experience it was.
However, my challenge isn't over yet - I am not just out to prove I'm nifty at 50, but to raise much needed funds for the British Dyslexia Association.
It is not too late to donate, so any contribution you can make will be gratefully received.
The BDA provides a help-line, information and resources to anyone affected by dyslexia and is currently campaigning for dyslexia friendly teaching strategies to be part of mandatory teacher training.
However small your donation, it will go towards the BDA' s invaluable work
The picture above is of me (with Sarah-Jane) feeling pleased with myself after running the Great South Run a few years ago.
