I have met so many inspirational people because of my work, one of whom is Simon, who I shall be running with in the half marathon. I really admire Simon’s determination to adapt to his deteriorating sight loss, and how he believes the mental and physical challenge of running helps to achieve other goals in life.  

So my struggle around the course (and it will be a struggle!!) is to raise money for SRSB to continue the important work that they do for blind and partially sighted people in Sheffield and also for everyone who will need SRSB in the future.

Adam, who also works at SRSB will be running the half marathon too - so if you are watching, look out for us and give us a bit of encouragment!!

SRSB provides opportunity, support, friendship and services to blind and partially sighted people in Sheffield, helping them to achieve whatever they wish to do and whatever they aspire to be.
