Our Grandma, Nancy died aged 71 of fibrosed lungs following radiotherapy for breast cancer.She had retired at 60 when just a week later she found the great lump.Her treatment was long and some mistakes were made resulting in a slow and undignified death.As a nurses we want to ensure excellent and effective care for people like Mum .The Royal Marsden provides that care but needs our support to maintain this as public funding falls short.
