Woo Hoo!!!!

On Sunday (11th October)  I ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London.

I've never done a 1/2 marathon before and I managed to get around the 13.1miles in 2hours 17minutes and 26seconds.

Not bad, I'm sure you'll agree? ;0)

Money that I raise will go to Pracital Action who work with poor communities in four regions of the developing world; Latin America, East Africa, Southern Africa and South Asia.

Having visited some of the countries that Practical Action work in, I have seen first hand how little people in these countries have, I believe that Practical Action's ideals of developing appropriate technologies in areas such as food production, energy, transport, water and sanitation, are an invaluable contribution to the develpoment of these communities.
