Walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path for EAPPI · 10 April 2012

We offer advice, resources and services to Quaker meetings. We work to build public awareness of who Quakers are and of the things that matter to us. We act on Quaker concerns at home and abroad, helping to change our world for the better by promoting peace, justice, equality and sustainability.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) is a programme of the World Council of Churches, managed in Britain and Ireland by the Religious Society of Friends.  Ecumenical Accompaniers (EAs) live alongside vulnerable communities in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, providing protection by presence, monitoring human rights abuses, supporting Israeli and Palestinian peace activists, and advocating for an end to the occupation.

Jane Harries from Bridgend Quaker Meeting will serve as an Ecumenical Accompanier in the Occupied Palestinian Territories in June - September this year.

So please do donate.  Ecumenical Accompaniers really do make a difference to very vulnerable people.
