I'm hoping to raise money for Maggie's in memory of the irreplaceable Rog, who we miss so much and who would laugh at the thought of me "hiking" anywhere.

Maggie's Centres are calm, beautifully-designed places that offer a wide range of support for anyone affected by cancer - not just those with the condition, but their family and friends too.

They do an amazing job, but it costs at least £350,000 to run each of their 14 centres every year - so please help them by sponsoring me to do the London Night Hike.

£10 will pay for one person to attend a Living with Cancer course to provide an understanding of their diagnosis, symptoms and side effects and how to deal with the emotional effects.

£30 pays for an hour with a relaxation therapist, helping to reduce some of the stress and anxiety that can be so overwhelming.

£100 enables two staff to run a 6-week about the physical effects of stress and anxiety, teaching relaxation techniques proven to benefit those affected by cancer.
