I'm running for a great local charity which is providing much needed support for families affected by cancer. Along with supporting charities such as Wish Upon a Star providing trips to Lapland, CLIC Sargent providing ward play leaders, they are the sole funders of the 'Sleep Tight Sitting Service' via CHAS which provides overnight care at home for children with terminal cancer - a service which previously did not exist.
