Raising money for Katharine House Hospice - Stafford

Katharine House Hospice provides free care services for local people faced with an illness that cannot be cured. Our aim is to enable our patients and those close to them to live as fully as possible. We do this by addressing all aspects of the illness, not just the physical ones. All our patients are unique and we help them to feel treated like an individual and not an illness. We rely heavily on donations to raise the £1.72 million needed to run the hospice each year.

I am proud to be supporting a local charity which provides valuable support to families at a very difficult time in their life. It costs around £2.5 million a year to run the hospice, which relies heavily on donations..

Well as you can see I'm nearly there in terms of fund raising and still can't believe the generosity of everybody. Thanks once again. Due to the recent weather and illness out door training isn't going to plan but fingers crossed we'll be back on track as we've only about 8 weeks to go.
