"AIN'T NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH!"
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am very pleased to say I have now completed my trek up Kilimanjaro and reached the summit of Uhuru Peak at 5895m. The whole trek was physically and mentally challanging, particularly 'summit night' which is almost indescribable! I am sad in a way that my big adventure is now over but look forward to a more restful time leading up to Christmas. If you asked me to do it again however, the answer would be a firm 'NO' but I'm open to any new challanges that come my way!
I made some great friends on the trek and the experience is one that I'm sure will stay with me forever. I am very pleased to have been able to raise money for the M.S. Trust in the process and really hope to reach my target, so if you are able to help in any way I would be very grateful of the support.
The money I'm raising will go to the Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.) Trust who are a charity working with and for the 85,000 people in the UK with M.S. M.S. is a condition where damage occurs in the Central Nervous System for which there is no cure. MS is the most common disabling condition among young adults. I have previously worked with patients with M.S. in my role as a Physiotherapist and am keen to support the valuable work carried out by the M.S. Trust.
