Story

Thank you everyone - the money is still coming in and i'm chuffed with what i've achieved and how you've all supported me both mentally and financially - a massive thankyou to everyone xxxx

Thank you to everyone who has donated, I'll be thinking of the money you've kindly given to charity to spur me on xxx

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I'll admit that I've never been much of a runner unless running to the shops before they close counts.  I'm not expecting a medal for the fastest time but after being offered a place on 16th April when a friend had to drop out, the mad person in me said yes.  Call it daft or completely stupid, it only gives me 4 weeks to train so i've decided to do it for charity.

Can I raise £500 in 4 weeks? - Ambitious yes, but i'll give it my all and what will spur me on is knowing that I'll be raising money for Willowbrook Hospice in St Helens in memory of Barbara Scales.

So please dig deep and donate now - with your help Willowbrook Hospice will get the funds that they so desperately need.

Many many thanks, photographic evidence of the run to follow

Jane xxxx
