Fundraising for The Hunger Project Trust
Story
As you may know, I'm a pretty down to earth and straight talking Lancashire lass. I stand on my own two feet (which isjust as well given the matter in hand) but I'm also not afraid to ask for support when I really need it. Well that time is now!
As a member of English National Ballet, I'm used to running around a lot and walking around the stage a lot in big heavy frocks and crowns etc. I run for the bus, walk around London all the time and I'm also not afraid to climb the odd VERY big hill back in Cumbria! I think I'm pretty fit....but will I be able to handle this? Read on....
On September 29, 2012, I will be taking a 50K Walk (that is quite a long way) along the banks of The Thames to raise funds for The Hunger Project. There are two things you can do to help. Please support me by making a donation or come and take the challenge with me....I'm doing the challenge with Gary Avis from The Royal Ballet too......it's not a competition, but I would like to walk it faster than him and raise more money! smile...find out more at:
I am an Ambassador for The Hunger Project UK and have been actively supporting their work to end hunger and poverty in Africa, South Asia and Latin America over the past couple of year now, including being a part of the team that created World Hunger Day.
