In February 2011, I travelled to Kenya for 2 weeks to do some volunteer work with this amazing charity.

Nyumbani is a charity that cares for abandoned and orphaned HIV+ children in Kenya.

I ran a few fundraiser events to raise funds to take with me. There are many ways in which this helped, including building accommodation for teachers who work in the newly opened school.

I had such an insightful time and would like to keep fundraising for Nyumbani. You can see the amount of funds I took with me on my trip. If possible I'd like to keep adding to this to help the charity continue their amazing work.
