As part of my company, CVC Capital Partners, initiative to donate more money to charitable causes I am pleased to have been selected to climb Kilimanjaro in June this year. 

I am paying for my trip which is partly supported by CVC. I am pleased to say that this means that ALL the money I raise will go directly to my chosen charity, AfriKids.

I have been fortunate to visit Ghana twice as a volunteer and have seen first hand the invaluable difference to society and the economy and disadvantaged children that Afrikids has made with genuine sustainabilty.

In summary AfriKids is a grass roots child rights organisation working to improve life for 's most vulnerable and disadvantaged children. AfriKids work ranges from the more traditional children's project including foster homes, schools and street child centres to child trafficking.
