Imagine being told that you, or someone you love, is losing their sight. In that moment, two profound questions demand urgent answers: Can this be stopped? How will I live my life? We fund the brilliant minds and bright ideas, putting change in sight for everyone impacted by vision loss.

Story

FIGHT FOR SIGHT is dedicated into funding research into the prevention and treatment of blindness and eye disease. By the age of 65 1 in 6 of us will become blind or partially sighted. The personal impact that this visual impairment has on peoples lives became apparent to me last year. I had a detached retina and nearly lost my sight but I am really grateful to the surgeon at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, who operated on me. I was very concerned that I would never be able to run again but Mr Bates told me to get back out there and run. So here I am back running for a very worth while cause.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
