It's time for the O'Connor Charity Event of 2011.  So this year in June it's my turn for a challenge to raise money for research into Muscular Dystrophy, to find a cure for Michael's disabling condition and other children with this and similar conditions. I plan to walk the whole of Hadrian's Wall, 84 miles 'non stop' will try to complete in two days.  Walking with me on this event and trying to complete the whole route will be Emily (Michael's sister/ my daughter) and Beverley (Michael's Godmother).  Also along the route we will be joined by some of my work colleagues. 

As you can see his condition has deteriorated over the last year and he now uses a wheelchair some of the time.  Michael also has to take 7 different medications daily to help maintain his health which he was not doing this time last year,  wear full leg splints for 1 to 2 hours and physio daily.

So to raise funds for this extremely good cause I need you to give generously.
