Whilst I am doing this hike for my own sense of achievement and interest, enough people have asked me what Charity I am doing it for me to think that somebody else may benefit too. Those who know me will know that I feel strongly for those kids who have have not been lucky enough to have the start in life that most,if not all, of us did. My late twin Arnold Dry worked hard for some of those kids. I am also aware from my own voluntary work that too many of those kids end up in prison. So here goes, let us see what we can do.

I start the Eden to Addo walk - all 400k - on 5th Sept. Those intersted can look it up Google - or e mail me. I hope I have trained hard. It is remote so I will not be in touch on route. But hopefully after some diverse scenery, a couple of mountain ranges, some praying fopr good weather, I will finish about 23rd September.
