We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

Rob is January Man!

As an ex-para, uber-fit and looking so comfortable with reptiles, we think he's our very own Bear Grylls! He knows a thing or two about building and would surely improve our survival chances, if we just happened to get stranded :)

You can see more images by clicking on the photos button. We love the picture we used for the calendar. Savannah, the Bosc Monitor is very placid but her sharp claws left lots of tell-tale marks on Rob's back. He never grumbled. Nor did he moan or groan when we left him in the press-up position for a whole five minutes while we organised the shoot. Thanks Rob.

The photo with the dragon lizard is fabulous too, although it doesn't do justice to the poor dragon who looks like simple frog. You can see the reptiles for real by contacting Nick Smellman at www.animalman.co.uk. We are enormously grateful to him for letting us use his sensational reptiles in our shoot.

If you just love Rob and want to help him raise much-needed funds for JDRF please give generously on this Just Giving page and help him beat the other guys in the fund raising stakes.
