The Midnight Walk · 19 May 2012

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12m, of this 70% comes from the local community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Growing up and throughout my life I have always enjoyed walking and would walk for miles. However, these last few years I have sometimes struggled to walk long distances due to suffering with Arthritis and Osteoporosis. Through this I can understand slightly how it may feel to others to have a life limiting disease, and when my daughters and sister said they were doing the midnight walk I wanted to do it too but some of my family worried if I would be able to do it with my conditions. However, through the support of my family, taking proper care of myself and not trying to be the fastest walker there I realised that I can still do amazing things in my life, such as walking 8 miles with my family while raising money for a great charity and having fun at the same time!

So if you would like to help me raise money for a great charity please donate to this page however much you can afford.

.
