Hello everyone...........WE DID IT!!!!!
My daughter, Molly and I climbed last week with a team of volunteers to raise money for a charity called SHAP Ltd, which is an organisation I have worked with for nearly 3 years.
SHAP provide housing and services for homeless, vulnerable or disadvantaged people and help them to take control of their own lives. It is an amazing organisation, and the people who work for SHAP are committed and passionate about what they do and the services they provide. It is their 30 year of operation, and to celebrate their Anniversary they have organised various fundraising projects, the most ambitious event will be a challenge to climb in October 2010!
The team includes staff, service users and friends of the organisation, and we aim to raise funds for SHAP and to raise its profile and to benefit service users across the organisation.
