We work to save the African lion to ensure viable populations exist

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Most of you will remember that I volunteered for the African Lion & Environmental Research Trust (ALERT) last year during my career break. They are working to help create suitable release areas for lions that will give birth to cubs that can be released back into the wild. The lion, a symbol of Africa, already lost 80 – 90% of its population in just the last thirty-five years! Imagine Africa without the lion…its unimaginable!

I will be going back to Zimbabwe in July this year to volunteer for 2 weeks at Antelope Park and would like to fundraise as much money as I can for this most worthy cause. The lions can’t ask for your help so I’m asking instead – give me the money you would have spent this month on chocolate or beer – and make a difference!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Big lions hugs, Jxx
