Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After losing my father in September 2009 I completed the 2010 Blenheim triathlon in aid of Leukaemia Research which was a charity close to my dad's heart. Fortunately some excellent support from friend's and family helped me raise over £1,000 which I was extremely grateful for.
I now plan to do the event again in 2016 but this time for a different but equally compelling cause.....'Thinking of Oscar'
Earlier this year I heard about the tragedy surrounding young Oscar and immediately understood the new Charity deserved support and increased exposure. The specific focus on helping children whilst in hospital care across England is something my dad would have wanted to support in any way he could have.
Having had a back operation last year and now three stone heavier than 2010 when I completed the Blenheim course this really will not be easy. However I am determined to sacrifice time and energy to compete and hope to raise over £1,000 for this brilliant cause and I hope you can help.
