I believe passionately that the only way our friends and family will stop dying of cancer is when the researchers have found treatments for all types of cancer.  More people are now surviving cancer than are dying of it, but it's not enough.  Every penny that goes to researchers is spent on saving lives, making treatments better and kinder, and providing cures.

I am sure, like me, you have watched a loved one, a friend or family member suffer and battle with cancer, you may, like me, have lost them.  This makes me stronger in my resolve that we should help the researchers to help us, so that no more of my family, or friends should suffer.
