Story

Hello all.

On April 7th I will be participating in a 34 mile (55km) cross country ultra-marathon across the Three Lochs Way (part of the west highland way route) over Loch Lomond, Loch Long and Gareloch.

Every 30minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with Crohns Disease or Ulcerative Colitis.

Over 300,000 people suffer from the disease in the UK with 1 in 4 new diagnosed people being aged under 16.

Over 80% of Crohns sufferers will need surgery at some point in their life.

The MAP vaccine, after 20 years of development has recently passed phase 1 of trials and is moving on to phase 2 treating crohns sufferers.

I am raising money to help push the MAP vaccine through Phase 2 of trials (phase 1 in crohns disease patients) in the hope that in the coming years it will be available for all Crohns sufferers.

Please support me by donating above and helping to cure this disease.
