I first attended an annual ball held to raise funds for the Naomi Fund in 2005 and since then have spent many a drunken but gloriously happy night at this event. It has become one of the highlights of our year. Claire and I absolutely love it.

I didn't have the honour of meeting Naomi but over the years have got to know Dean Fardell, Naomi father. In addition to donating his time to running Grantham boxing club Dean, along with his family, raises huge sums of money in memory of Naomi.
