My wife and I are organising a 30mile charity bike ride & BBQ on the 5th June to raise funds & awareness for the Liberty Rose Trust.

 

Liberty Rose is an amazing little girl who was born with an inoperable brain tumour that very nearly sent her blind & lost her her life, but thanks to the highly skilled team at Nottingham Queens Medical Centre she endured 18months of chemotherapy and is still here to tell the tale. The tumour which enclosed her optic nerves and left her sight severley restricted has shrunk so much from the chemo that it no longer appears on scans and has in a word disappeared!

 

The bike ride will be starting at the Harefield Pub in Harefield Middlesex going along the Grand Union Canal to the Paper Mill Pub in Apsley Hertfordshire and then back again to the Harefield Pub where there will be a BBQ for the cyclists & supporters to enjoy of which all proceeds will also go the Liberty Rose Trust.

 

Liberty Rose is an amazing little girl, a true fighter and inspiration to us all, so please dig deep and give what you can to help us raise funds & awareness in the fight against childhood cancers of which brain tumours are the leading cause of death out of all the childhood cancers, FACT!
