Whilst deployed on Op HERRICK in Afghanistan, as part of 31 Sqn we intend to run, cycle and row 31,000 miles and hopefully raise 31,000 GBP for help for heroes, this equates to every sqn member completing 3.2 miles per day every day whilst working 12 hour shifts 24/7 for 4.5 months.
