The Stroke Association - Peterborough Evening Abseil, Escape from Hereward House of Horrors · 30 October 2011 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I'm taking part in a 90ft abseil on the 30th of October in Peterborough, raising money for the Stroke Association.

This year my Dad suffered from a very serious stroke and now over 6 months later and after 4 months in hospital, he is home again. He has already overcome huge obtastacles just to be back home with us again, and we are all so proud of his recovery. Now I have decided to do my bit to help a very worthy charity.
