I truly am pushing myself to the extreme for this ride. My first road ride was in June (this year).... Yes, I know... 

In the past month I have found the Lycra surprisingly comfortable, the cleats difficult to get used to, hills extremely hard, but through it all I have kept a smile on my face, and a hunger to push myself. Completing the event will be a massive milestone for me.
