We aim to raise £10,000 for the Wolverhampton based childrens charity "Promise Dreams" who are dedicated to making dreams come true for seriously ill and terminally ill children.  http://www.promisedreams.co.uk/ 

We, (Vaughan Portelli & Jason Wilkes)  are aiming to complete the Lanzarote Ironman (as fast as poss!) which is said to be the toughest Ironman in the world!  Ironman Lanzarote starts with a 3.8k sea swim against atlantic currents, then follows a 180k cycle race over the rough volcanic island, battling scorching heat and strong winds. If that is not enough there is a full marathon to run to the finish line - 42k or 26 miles!
